Requirements to for fill before any training can commence:
The requisite 100 hours of PIC (Pilot In Command Time) as defined in the SACATS and CARS must be completed before any training for your Commercial Pilot License may begin.
The following should be included in this 100-hour period: 20 hours of cross-country experience (flights crossing provincial borders), including a flight of 300nm away from base, with two full stop landings.
5 hours PIC time at night, with 10 take-offs and landings, and one flight (at night) with three legs, each of which must be at least 50nm.
You can begin working on your Multi-Engine Instrument Rating Commercial Pilot License if you have adhered to all of the restrictions outlined in the SACATS and CARS.
